Artist's Comments

I like hundreds of other people have watched this man's antics for years. His love of life, family and mostly his great love and respect for the wild things of our world.

He will be sorely missed.

This really reminds me of a marine photo shot in the Pacific.A bright coloured creature at home in the sea.

Thank you Ash! I should dedicate this one to Steve Irwin.

Strange that you should say that. Was thinking about Steve Irwin when I did this. More along the lines of a rose tossed into the sea for him.

It doesn't look much like a rose in the small version! The name of this has been changed, since I was thinking about Steve Irwin all day yesterday...I dedicated the fractal to his memory.

I think you got the textures on this one perfectly. Not too chaotic or simple. Brilliant job!

He will be missed indeed...

At least two thirds of our miseries spring from human stupidity, human malice and those great motivators and justifiers of malice and stupidity, idealism, dogmatism and proselytizing zeal on behalf of religious or political idols.
